The fashion industry and all of its components have serious intrinsic flaws. On the outside, everything seems perfect...and yet things are not what they seem. Average men and women across the nation, who follow fashion closely, simply cannot compete with the unattainable standards involving both appearance and expenses. Why are high fashion and the fashion industry in general so appealing despite negative press regarding the subjects? Aditionally, along those same lines, why do people follow trends?
